Milton J. Perkins, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CPC, is the Chief Solutions Architect for Kaufman, VonStuben & Associates, a next-practice, business-aligned, HR solutions consulting firm.

In this role, Milton has successfully performed in contracted roles as Chief Strategy, Accountability, and HR Officer; VP, Human Resources; and as Chief Accountability and Human Resources Officer. In addition to this very specific contracted roles, he has led efforts to consult on human capital projects for firms such a Snap, Delta Airlines, LaFarge, Discover Financial, Spira de Mexico S.A., ActOne, AIG, and AEG, to name a few. Dr. Perkins also worked as the Senior Director of Workforce Solutions for Agile•1 ($2B workforce solutions firm), Recruitment/Staffing Practice Leader for EDS/ExcellerateHRO, and as the Global Talent Acquisition Leader for Hewitt Associates. Milton has a tremendous wealth of practical, research, teaching and consulting experience in human capital strategies, tactics and initiatives. He was also the SHRM’s Director, North Central Region, responsible for facilitating strategic planning and providing advice and counsel to the Society’s volunteer members and leaders, and since 2002 he has been a
Senior Adjunct Faculty member, developing and teaching SHRM courses, worldwide.

Milton earned his Ph.D., Management, with a research focus on environmental variables impacting virtual employee engagement.

He also has a Masters of Science in Human Resources, as well as Bachelors of Science in Management, Computer Information Systems. He holds certifications as an SHRM-SCP, SPHR, and CPC. He is also a member of both Delta Mu Delta and Golden Key International Honour Societies. He has completed human resource leadership studies at the Disney Institute, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Executive Leadership Development Program at Babson College, and the PDI Assessment Center.
